The Cincy Blues Fest: A Labor of Love for Coordinators and Volunteers

The 2011 Cincy Blues Fest is just over a month away, but preparations for this 2-day event have been in the works since right after the Winter Blues Fest in January. A dedicated group of Cincy Blues Society board members and volunteers collectively spend thousands of hours coordinating every aspect of the Fest: from booking, site logistics, and transportation, to security, volunteer recruiting, merchandise, and hospitality.   Over the next few weeks, some of these coordinators and volunteers will be…
